White Rim Overlook Trail Description
From the parking area, the White Rim Overlook Trail begins by descending slickrock where it quickly reaches a fork. Head right and continue through the junipers and pinyon pines. The trail is pretty straightforward, as it continues more or less straight, skirting below a small sandstone ridge that remains consistently on your left. Once you near the point, it will cross over a break in the ridge, offering up breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding terrain. After soaking in the views, head back out the same way you came in.
Getting There
From the Island in the Sky Visitor Center, head south along the main road for 11.3 miles until you reach the picnic area containing the White Rim Overlook Trailhead.
