Bell and Little Wild Horse Canyons
The Bell Canyon to Little Wild Horse Canyon Loop is an exciting 9.5 mile loop found deep within the San Rafael Swell in southern Utah.
The San Rafael Swell is a remarkable geologic area based around a large “wrinkle” in the earth’s crust, much like the nearby Waterpocket Fold in Capitol Reef National Park. Thanks to its unique geology, it features sandstone trails unlike anywhere else. It also has some of the most unique and adventurous slot canyons that the Colorado Plateau has to offer, such as Crack Canyon and Little Wild Horse Canyon. Farther north, the Little Grand Canyon overlook provides a dramatic overlook of an immense canyon below.

Crack Canyon is a 3.75 mile hike in the San Rafael Swell that can either be a shuttle hike or a lengthy out and back, with amazing sandstone formations.
