Seven Bridges Loop Trail Description
Beginning on the Valley Trail, ascend the trail below the Teewinot lift behind the Bridger Center building. You’ll ascend past the back of the Four Seasons hotel on the right followed by private homes. A bit up the hill, the Valley Trail will continue upward while the Saratoga Trail enters a forested grove between ski runs off to the left. Either will get you up to the next junction, but the Saratoga Trail is a bit more scenic and less steep.
Heading up the Saratoga Trail, you’ll snake upward through the grove as you begin to make numerous creek crossings. Farther up, the trail becomes predominantly evergreen. Both the aspens and the creek will fade away as the trail cuts across a ski run to head just above the Apres-Vous lift.
Winding back into a mixed forest, you’ll reach a rather misleading junction with the Saratoga Trail. Head left to access the Seven Bridges Trail just up the trail, paralleling a dirt service road.

As you cut across ski runs and the forest groves between, you’ll reach the first bridge on the other side of the second ski run. You’ll make a quick climb along a creek before crossing that same creek, followed by another service road.
It will become a familiar but beautifully scenic pattern as you pass through forested groves followed by ski runs, allowing for stunning vistas of the valley below. Along the way, you’ll pass above the Teewinot lift, followed by the Sweetwater Gondola gliding along the cables above. Not much longer, and the Seven Bridges Trail will then pass below the Bridger Gondola as well.
Once you’ve passed the gondolas, you’ll reach a junction with the Wildflower Trail on the other side of a large ski run. The Wildflower Trail shares only about a dozen yards or so with the Seven Bridges Trail. First, stay right to remain on the Seven Bridges Trail, then after the short double trail, stay left to remain on the Seven Bridges Trail.

You’ll then cut across a large ski run, offering up majestic views of the surrounding terrain. Just ahead, you’ll reach a junction with the Tramline Trail on the other side of a grove. Stay right and cross a service road directly below the tram cables. The trail becomes a wider two-track trail, descending to a junction with the Hoback Trail. Head left to an immediate junction with the Tramline Trail, sharing a quick stretch of service road before forking left.
The Tramline Trail switchbacks down through the forest, paralleling the service road. You’ll pass by a pair of small maintenance sheds, quickly followed by a large service road junction. On the opposite side, pick up the Wildflower Trail and continue heading down. You’ll wind up just above the Bridger Center, coming down between the two gondolas.
